After meeting old friend Lugo the Huge (Paul Newlan) in a cantina, Don Ricardo takes the advice of Padre Carlos (David Leonard) and gets a job on his land, disguised as a common laborer, biding his time until he can find evidence of Luerra's wrongdoing and challenge him.

City slicker Ann (Phyllis Planchard) and her little brother Tom (Steve Drake) leave Chicago and buy a ranch out West, and Ann struggles to run things. She meets Larson (Bob Duncan), a crooked local saloon keeper who woos her, but he also wants her land so he can get to the silver that's located on it. As part of his effort to grab all the land he can, Larson kills the town sheriff and assumes his position, alarming good-guy cowboy Eddie Dean (Eddie Dean), who swoops in and tries to rescue Ann.
